The future of gaming is yesterday
Remember when gaming was as simple as guiding a plumber or hedgehog across a screen? Remember when controllers didn’t have eleventy
twelve million buttons? Remember when it didn’t take 300 hours to complete a game? We do… and we love it!
Buy all the retro games you could ever want – across every console you can think of – at Toy Planet.
Gaming from a simpler time
It’s amazing to think of how (what we now know as) retro games have evolved through the ages. In the 80s, many games came in cassette formats, before being superseded by cartridges in the 90s. The advent of the CD made digital discs the go-to game hardware in the 2000s, before games became downloadable through the internet as they are today. But just because something is old, doesn’t mean it can’t be fun…
The biggest names in retro games
At Toy Planet, we have literally thousands of retro games for you to choose from across dozens of different consoles. And the good news is that all your cherished characters and franchises from your youth are here: Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, Zelda and Tetris are all firm favourites of ours.
We also stock modern classics like Pokemon and Call of Duty – and that’s just scratching the surface of our inventory!
With retro games, there’s always one more…
There are so many different consoles, and so many different libraries of retro games out there, that your possibilities as a collector are virtually endless. This means that no two collections are ever the same, and you can pursue the titles and consoles that you really love (and the ones you loved as a kid!).
The even better news is that the values of retro games and consoles are rising, meaning you can potentially make a sound financial investment, too.
