A gaming brand steeped in history
Nintendo was founded in Japan in 1889. The company started by selling playing cards and slowly started developing arcade machines and then games, the first of which was Donkey Kong.
Nintendo’s first console was Famicom in 1984 (renamed the Nintendo Entertainment System for worldwide sales), and in modern times Nintendo has become known for family-friendly games such as Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda. Their games and consoles are mainly intended for those of any skill set and any age to enjoy.
Decades of Nintendo fun
We’re proud to sell five generations of home-based Nintendo consoles: the NES, the SNES, the Nintendo 64, the GameCube and the Wii. We also sell the Game Boy, that icon of handheld gaming which is still as great to play now as it was when we were kids! It’s joined by its successors in the handheld range, the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and the Switch.
Alongside the consoles, accessories and peripherals, we have a constantly evolving inventory of games, including Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda and many more.
